Christelle Imperial de Castro asked me to participate in this group show with only a week to prepare. The show's theme was anything relating to dreams. She said that there were already a lot of monsters and the like, but that my work would add a bit of the abstract of which a lot of dreams consist.

It was my first show of any sort in San Francisco. When trying to figure out what designs I might want to use and how to use them, Christelle saw the designs which became my center pieces and instantly wanted them in the show. Then she asked me to do something like a mural behind the designs to add a little more volume. So I painted a cloud with my famous fingers flying out in all directions.
